You could not pay me to go back to this place – order a medium rare fillet – it arrives well done – you ask for another fillet only to be told that they have run out – feeble excuse
Really great food. Tapas worked really well. Really attentive waitress. People should definitely support this place. Will come again. Nice mood. Although I wouldn’t recommend the churros, they are a bit gooey on the inside for my liking.
I was really blown away by the standard of this place. Its food, service and general existence.I was in Nelspruit for 1 night and I researched places to go to and things to do, and this place popped up. The name was interesting and I decided to try It.It was really amazing, the food was delicious the wine selection was lovely. we tried a few items including dessert -I was so impressed!Staff were attentive and courteous.I left feeling really good about deciding to eat here. If im ever back I’ll be here again..
The restaurant is a little difficult to find on a service road which runs parallel to the Ferreira through road. But it is worth the search. Parking is off-road and safe through a narrow, guarded entrance, which requires a firm hand on the steering wheel. The menu and wine lists offer a limited selection but the courses are very good thanks to Vincent, the French chef and co-owner of the place. The restaurant does not offer the best ambiance but this is made up by the quality of the food. The best seating is in the vicinity of the fireplace. The service is impeccable and friendly, headed by Sarah, Vincent’s wife. This is not a very cheap restaurant by South African standards, but worth the price. The acoustics are rather poor, especially when there is large party of guests. The restaurant has very convenient accommodation in the same complex, and is very popular with expatriates from Mozambique.
Awesome, attentive service, lovely ambiance and fabulous food. Menu is different from usual SA restaurants, yet every dish was deliciously prepared. We had the tuna carpaccio and peas soup (mmmm) and fillet and moroccan meatballs. Amazing coffee as well. Compliments to the chef and team. We will definitely return on our next visit to Nelspruit.
