Rating is for the food and ambience. Very rustic spot but has its own charm. Definitely the best pizza we’ve had for ages. Fresh chilli would be my only suggestion. My husband loved the Buchu beer. A place for adults not so much children. Will definitely go back though!

Truly a unique bushveld experience like no place else, hidden in the heart of Hartebeespoort. Enjoyed the blissful taste of a cold buchu beer from the father of craft beer and a delightful pizza made in an original pizza oven like the old days. Perfect tranquillity just outside JHB for the craft beer enthusiast.
Best pizzas and Ale beer I had in a while. Can only fault that it is not a child friendly area for toddlers but the pizzas is definitely worth the wait and would advice 2×4 or 4×4 for the road to Ale House. Be wise – support local thus visit the Ale House !
