Had the best fresh prawns at a reasonable price. Thought I was in Mozambique! My husband’s ribs were also succulent and perfect The staff was friendly and helpful and brought out 4 different fresh prawns for me to decide on size. Sadly the decor is stuck in the eighties, with plastic decor red paper serviettes which I saw many years back. A bit of cleaning can be done on the ship’s and wall decor. The atmosphere was family friendly, we had a lovely time.
This was the worst food I ever ate in my life and the worst service ever from a manger. I ordered a platter combo with Hake and Calamari. After 55 minutes the food arrived. The hake and the calamari was dry and tasteless. I sent it back. When it arrived back it was just as bad. What was worse was that the same calamari that I sent back came back again. They refried the same tought tasteless calamari. They only gave me 4 pieces of calamari with the hake and thought it was fine to charge R138 for this combo. Even the side dish of half eaten fried pap came back. They did not even prepare a fresh portion of the side dish. My wife’s chips were not cooked and we sent that back as well. It took 15 minutes for them to return that and that was cold on its return. The manager could only say sorry and blame the kitchen. He had the audacity to charge me full price for for my wife’s food although we did not even eat all of it as we sent the chips back again. Never again!!!

Cold wine. Cold beers. They had the most awesome bar one cake. Loved it. At the entrance, they showcased some fresh fish you could pick from. The menu looked good. Prices were reasonable.
Had our dads 70th function here with 40 people. Was absolutely wonderful from the attention to detail in the setup (so that people can easily socialise) to the food prep time and the service, everything was absolutely taken care of and wonderful! Food was very reasonably priced, lots of specials – great prawns!! Great portion sizes, excellent taste and pleasant setup.. will be coming back again in numbers!!
