The new name is Fork and Knife. But still the same interior and theme and atmosphere. We stopped for a drink. We had cocktails and beer. Cocktails were cold. Priced the same as other restaurants in the area. They had the rugby on the tv’s for us. Friendly staff. Were were served very quickly.
Being new to the area I took some clients for lunch. The fact that there were only 3 tables over lunch should have raised the alarm bells.I ordered their Thai Chicken salad. This was absolutely disgusting. Drenched in some hot dressing, limp lettuce and boiled chicken. 2 of my guests ordered the shepherd pie. What they got was mash potato with a thin layer of mince. Why not just cheat the customers all the way and just give them the mash. My last client had a burger and well I guess you really have to know nothing to screw up a burger with chips.I would never return to this place and would not spend my money here.
