Terrible service. A group of us waited to be seated then proceeded to find a seat ourselves. We tried to get the waiters’ attention but none of them seemed to care. We rang the bell many times but no one came. My friend raised her hand and waved to get the attention of two waiters talking to each other. They looked annoyed but the waitress reluctantly brought menus which she slammed on the table and did not pass out. Nevertheless I greeted her politely, she ignored me and walked away. We found them to be extremely rude. We left immediately. We won’t be returning.

Windmeul Waffelhuis (Windmill waffel house) is one of three eating venues at the popular Hartebeestport local produce market, Jasmyn.If offers a decent and tasty selection of sweet and savoury waffels, with interesting combinations of toppings. Service was friendly and fast. The scenic garden setting, atmosphere and food makes for a recommended outing when visiting the area.
Visited a bit late in the afteroon and staff did not seem interested in helping, milkshakes orders tasted off and were warm. All in all not the best service.
First time visiting the waffle house. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Perfect venue for summer as it is situated in the lower part of the windmill in the shade. There are waffles for the sweet tooth and savory. They do breakfasts options until 2pm, waffles with chicken or spinach, as well as something sweet with fruit such as strawberries and pear pieces. Sweet waffles come with a choice of cream, ice cream or both. It is a must visit for the whole family if you are passing through or visiting Jasmyns.
