We Drove past on our usual Sunday afternoon hangout  to find something new, and tried out the Amigos Steakhouse.Good atmosphere, friendly helpful staff ( my husband asked for some chili for her Tacos and we got a dish full of fresh chopped chili selection). The menu is possibly a little limited for those of you wanting variety, but I settled for the chicken Nachos and my wife had the mini tacos. Now if you have had Nachos before you will be aware that it’s real easy to get them over cooked and dry with the cheese like rubber, but these came just right, crispy yet moist. The mini tacos were a treat says the wife, although she felt a little Jalapeno chili would make them better, but it gives you the option to add these as you need. The music was good with a happy country vibe courtesy of Billy Beeby who was entertaining without being intrusive, and we could still hear each other talk. The Owners were friendly and helpful and service was good. All in all I would go back as the guys in the kitchen underpinned the experience with good food so if you are out on a Sunday drive stop in at Chameleon Village and give Amigos a try.

Popped into Amigo’s for lunch while in the Harties area. Very relaxed vibe and live music to boot. I definitely recommend the Pikanya steak – best steak I’ve had in a while. The chocolate burritos are also divine. Great place, very friendly staff.

Visiting Harties heard about Amigo’s the new restaurant in town. The food was very good and so the music and vibe. The toilets clean and the evening was such fun with dancing and it just felt good. The venue is airconditioned which is wonderful!
