We went to Stef’s this afternoon. Everything was awesome, from the service to the food. There is absolutely nothing you guys can improve on. I will definitely recommend Stef’s table to anyone who demands quality. Well done!!!
Stephanus ( restaurant’s name sake) and Athlone run this establishment in a way that can hold its own against any fine dining restaurant in Jhb or the country for that matter. The atmosphere is cosy yet elegant. The service is impeccable. And not enough can be said for the food! Sea bass was delicious. Creamy Butternut muffin as a side was different and complimentary. Chocolate fondant pudding was unforgettable. Knowledge of wines was helpful. The care with which the food was prepared and the attention to detail made it worth every cent. We will visit this gem again and again.
What an amazing little restaurant! I took my husband here for our anniversary. The ambiance was lovely. We sat outside on a little patio and had the place to ourselves. The wind chimes added a beautiful touch.We were brought some complimentary toast with cherry tomato slices and pesto. For mains, I had the lamb kebab and my husband had the steak, both of which were absolutely scrumptious. We were also brought a plate of vegetables, including the most delicious little pumpkin cakes. The food was unbelievable – worth every cent!The personal charm of this restaurant was wonderful. We even had a personalised menu wishing us a happy anniversary. I would 100% recommend Stef’s Table to anyone in the area, or anyone looking for a special place to go outside of Joburg or Pretoria.
