Every Time we come to this ocean basket – service is bad, the restaurant is in chaos and a starter can take 45 min. Unfortunately the manager doesn’t seem to have control. Long weekends are particular bad.
This place has once again raised my love for sushi and seafood! I had the Tempura Prawn California Roll and a Avocado Maki as mains. The crispy texture of the prawn went amazingly with the rice and seaweed and my cousin selected this place for a delicious dinner. Unfortunately, the kiddies pool has closed down to be refurbished which has sadly reduced about 30% of all customers. I guess that means more for me! Definitely recommend it!
Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food we received here – the prawns were big, juicy and cooked properly (especially compared to what we get in Cape Town). Squid heads and calamari were excellent. Our starter mini ciabatta breads were warm and straight from the oven! Our waitress was also very friendly and efficient.
