Truly exceptional. Every bite was a planned and executed flavorful piece of heaven. It was a special occasion and we had a group table, but the staff managed it with ease. All courses were delivered in union and without an unreasonable wait. The staff were very attentive and they made the evening well worth it.
Stayed at the Cabanas this weekend and thought it might be a good idea to try a different spot. The restaurant is located in the Palace, and is quite small with only 10 tables inside. We were greeted by a very friendly manager who made us all feel welcome instantly. They have a small menu with 1 amuse bouche, 4 starters, 4 mains and 2 deserts. The food in all was very tasty, with the standouts being the pate in the amuse bouche, and the beef Wellington for main. A bit more expensive than your average restaurant in Sun City, but if you would like to spoil yourself, definitely recommended.
Contemporary is the first word that comes to mind. With decor fit for the Palace, we enjoyed a three course meal here. The tuna tarter was incredible- it converted two tuna haters and the portion was large. The risotto was a firm favourite. The dessert, a chocolate mouse was good, although did not quite match the standard of the starter and main course. Worth a visit.
A lovely chic, elegant restaurant & great if you are looking for a proper fine dining experience. The service is very good & the staff made our anniversary dinner special. The setting is also really lovely. For a starter my husband had the butternut soup & it was the best we have ever tasted. I had the quail & it was cooked to perfection & absolutely delicious. For mains my husband had the lamb rump which was perfectly cooked & very tasty. I had the ostrich schnitzel with cheese & tomato fondue. The dish is actually supposed to be a springbok schnitzel but unfortunately they were out of springbok. Nevertheless the dish was good. For dessert we had the Amarula mousse which was unfortunately a bit tasteless. All dishes were beautifully presented. I would have given a rating of five but I was a bit disappointed with the dessert & the fact that we were charged full price for my dish even though the springbok was substituted with ostrich.
