I can’t believe that for R280 per person, food was so old. The carvery was finished, the chef by the stir fry with attitude, all the meat was over salted and tasted the same. pasta old old old. Disgusting food.
Really cool buffet. I absolutely loved how they had a stirfry station and we could choose what we wanted in our stirfry and I took full advantage of this. Moving on dessert my cupcake looked to die for. I started off with the buttercream icing and it was delish. The cupcake itself on the other hand was just really hard. It was though it had been left out and it had dried up.
Terrible. I can’t believe that for R265 per person, you arrive for dinner at 7pm and by then most of the food is finished or old. The carvery was finished, the chef abandoned the stir fry station and let the food burn, all the meat was over salted and tasted the same. Hardly any pasta options. The coffee tasted like toilet water. You’re better off at Spur. Disgusting food.
A nice dinner if you’re looking for a traditional African experience, but I feel that it was way overpriced for the quality of food that you got.The food is served buffet style. They have a wide range of breads and cheeses available, as well as a built-your-own-salad, with beautifully fresh ingredients. The soup on this particular night was a creamy pumpkin soup and it was absolutely to die for! One of the best I’ve had!Moving onto the braai section, they had chops, boerewors and chicken kebabs, as well as a spicy hot lamb curry. The curry was a bit too much for me, but the chicken was very nice. The chops were a bit tough. The desserts I had were amazing – dark chocolate tart, a coffee and chocolate tart and date fingers, along with a thick chocolate sauce and toffee sauce. Devine! The cakes looked a bit dry and tasteless and the serve yourself ice cream doesn’t work so well in the summer heat. The service was very good and our waiter really took very good care of us! The food was just not worth its price in gold.
Went here for xmas buffet supper last night with family. Quality of food was pathetic. Food was also prepared very unhygenically. Family member ended up with food poisoning. There was no cutlery and no waiters to clean up the tables.
