Madeira is firmly one of my favourite restaurants. The decor is bland, the service is questionable, even the preparation of food leaves a lot to be desired for but STONE ME, the marinade that lathers their steaks is worth leaving your wife for. This restaurant has the most potential of any restaurant in Cape Town. It needs a face lift and perhaps a chef worthy of that godly marinade.
