Hands down the best trinchado that we’ve ever had. While we shared the starter portion I’d definitely have it as a main on our return. For mains we had the calamari and hake & calamari combo which was delicious. We had a very enjoyable evening with fantastic service and recommend LM to those visiting Plett and looking for a good Portuguese restaurant.
After a long drive we arrived here . The place was quiet and we waited for 20 min to be helped by a waiter . After everyone of them passed our table . I asked for help and the waiter had a massive attitude . The drinks orders had to be repeated several times . The food arrived and it was good ! The bar man helped us from here , because this waiter seemed to have lost his temper . NO management was present this night .
So had lunch at this small little restaurant in plet in the main town, it was really amazing the restaurant is not big and the decor is nothing out of this world. But the food is really good and taste full of flavor, a must when you are in Plett. The owner makes his rounds and create a nice atmosphere between guest. I will def go back for the ribs and Prawns combo!! this is a must try!!
Went to this restaurant on Saturday night with some trepidation as reviews varied a lot. The service was excellent, quick without being rushed and very friendly. My Portuguese steak was cooked to perfection and really tasty. My wife loved her hake and calamari. A bonus was the excellent laid back singer / guitarist.
Completely underestimated this place. Late afternoon, only a few people seated inside but the staff are so welcoming we decided to enter. Our waitress, sweetness, was fab! I had the seafood salad and WOW, how did they make such a tasty, creamy dressing that didn’t make my lettuce soggy or overpower the meal. The egg and cheese burger, my partner asked for chicken patty instead of beef, was large but flavorful. A great experience!!
