Nguni! What a treat! Unique food with multiple flavors from the innovate Gazpachio to the marinated tuna steat, all dishes were spectacular. Great service. All food was exceptionally fresh.
Booked a table on the day itself. Located in a small side street off the main shopping street in Plet with ample parking across the road. Nice ambience, friendly waiters with good advice for wine selection. Menu a bit limited, steak only available with salsa, no other sauce. Seared tuna a bit blend. A bit overrated especially when considering price range. Good overall.

Sometimes you just have a perfect evening. From arrival to dessert and coffees Nguni was pure gastronomic bliss. On the menu was salt and pepper squid, bobotie samoosas, 300 gram rib-eye, roast butternut and fig salad with ricotta finished with fruit pavlova and illy coffee. All I can say is yum (we did bring the wine which worked very well with the main)
They work on reservations during these busy holidays. But the manager was able to make a table for us without one. I had the kingklip which was absolutely divine, i loved it. Beautiful old sophiatown-like setup. Friendly waiters. I will definitely go back.
