Wow, the food was delicious !! I tried a few things on the menu and I was blown away. The keftedes (meatballs) we so good, I wish I had ordered more. The big surprise for me was the tiropita, crispy flaky pastry and a warm cheesy filling, so delicious !. Then had the speciality Yuvetsi a lamb pasta dish which was insanely good , it was very rich and the portion I had could easily feed 3 people, it was so rich I thought it could do with a acidic side to break up the richness, but my goodness what a great dish. Then the souvlaki it’s was herby and garlicky the pita was a perfect vehicle for the pieces of lamb. All I can say is wow and well done, I will definitely be going back.
I was looking forward to dinner here based on reviews I had read. However, I was disappointed! Staff were unattentive and disinterested. We had to call them several times to assist us. The owner/ manager walked past to ask how the meal was but not in a very engaging way. We had all ordered the beef gyro-beef was tough and salty. We weren’t even offered a dessert or coffee menu. Won’t be back!
Nice atmosphere. Wonderful view of Table Mountain! The spanakopita was divine!! Grilled calamari starter was also delicious 🙂 My friend had the lamb souvlaki on a plate with pita bread pieces. Served with a Greek salad and delicious tzatziki. Very fresh food and nicely served.
