Its and ok’ish place, service there is very slow and will wait long for your food. Not alot of umbrellas to sit out side and it was such a beautiful Saturday but my Family and I opted to sit inside to avoid sitting in the sun. Their food are expensive and its not even that great. Hake and 5 pawns are R185 thats madness.
Seafood and Sushi looked amazing! joined a few friends for lunch on a busy Sunday afternoon. I ordered a burger -not the best choice on my part, I guess it serves me right for ordering a burger at predominantly seafood place. Burger was nothing special and wouldn’t recommend it. stick to the seafood. Service was good as it was very busy.would try their sushi next time.
I would like to start this review by stating how friendly and wonderful the waiters are. It wasn’t the fastest service but the waiters’ positive aura just made up for it so it wasn’t too bad. The venue itself is situated so close to the beach which makes it that much more beautiful. We visited Seat this past Sunday at sunset so you can only imagine how stunning the views were. The downfall of this restaurant was not the food, service delivery or waiters, it was the owner. He randomly joined our table of friends and was so wasted that he slurred half of his words. He proceeded to insult half of our friends at the table with his snide comments. He also complained about the negative ratings that previous customers had given on the restaurant. In addition, he treated his staff with immense disrespect which I found to be offensive. The experience was lovely until the owner ruined it. His probably the only reason as to why I wouldn’t come back. Note to the owner: if you do not want people to negatively review your restaurant, do not get smashed and harass your customers by randomly joining their table and making snide comments. Also, have some respect for your staff. They are the immediate face of your restaurant.
