Poor service from staff (one particular waiter). Two people at the table and only taking one order and walks away. Seriously shocked!!!. Food over-priced and really not what you would expect from a Hotel restaurant. Will not go there again and will tell friends also not to waste their time and money.
Beautiful view, slow pace with a glass of wine, and good food, all in the fabulous Blue Peter Hotel. An icon setting. (If lunch takes 3.5 hours, you know it was a good one.) Friendly staff, good service, very tasty food. The calamari is very tender, the fish fresh and the fillet steak cooked perfectly rare! Not cheap, but also not very extravagant. Two starters, two mains, one dessert and two bottles of wine, with a good tip was R850. All in all not a bad way to spend a day.
