The food is divine! Portions are decent and the atmosphere is great. In a busy street of restaurants in Kamps Bay, this is the place for a more peaceful dining experience without missing out on the lively vibe of the area.
If you’re craving Indian food as well as an amazing vibe then the Raj in Camps Bay is the place to be. All their curries, biryani and naans were very tasty and good quality ingredients were used. Service was excellent. The manager and the other staff ensured we had a great evening! I prefer the outdoor seating area.
Worst Experience! Butter chicken was not good in taste, dal makhni is okay and the worst part was that there is some africano working who doesn’t even know how to treat guest and when I refused to pay the tip she started acting rude. My table was in the middle row, hope you would be able to find her and give a strict warning to her. Thanks
I was super excited to try out The Raj only to be greatly disappointed. We had the Butter chicken as starter which was good, but not great. For mains we had Chicken Korma and Vindaloo, both was so dry and the korma had no flavor at all. I thought we could end off the insipid dinner with a dessert only to be told they’re out of Lindt for the dessert. Being December and in such a popular location, how can you be out of anything. The service was slow and not utterly friendly. Don’t think The Raj will see me again.
