We liked the location of this venue right by the beach. The menu offers a good combination of of starters, main courses and desserts and prices are reasonable. The quality of the food was average and the presentation below standard, with the exception of the starter that was very appealing. The staff was friendly at all times but if you are in a hurry, do not visit this restaurant: we had to wait for more than 20 minutes before we got our starter. I think this is something the Management has to seriously look into.
Dave and I were regular visitors to Al Forno when it was owned by an Italian. He understood that pizzas should be thin based and pasta dishes should be all about the pasta, and less about the sauce. It was taken over by someone who changed the ethos of the trattoria. When the regular pasta dishes were served with thin, watery sauces we stopped going. Al Forno has recently been sold to a group of young triplets and so we decided to give them a try.

Excellent pizza and a nice view which is always a bonus. Can’t help but feel like I’m on Holiday when visiting Al Forno’s. PS. Spinach, onion and feta is a winner!!
