Terrible service. Management lacks attention. Food order never came and no one noticed for an hour that no food orders came through to the kitchen. Cannot comment on their food as I have not seen it, let alone tasted it.
This place almost gets there. Good offers, but the waitress was not really interested, food had good flavour but the preparation was not up to scratch. The pizza Base was soggy, was ordered without fetta but had fetta on. Calamari batter was not completely cooked, and the Bolognaise was very sweet. Salsa Chicken and chips was good.

A)It was served on a stale burger bun. B) I asked for medium eggs and it was completely goo and running. C) the hollandaise sauce was clearly warmed mayo.I have had this meal countless times and shocked that a restaurant could serve this for the price of R95. The waitress was extremely friendly and attended to the matter after seeing our faces. The manager refused to come out to address the matter and apparently takes to out on the staff. We order a second meal which was a toast panini with chicken and avocado. The chicken tasted like jelly and the Machine avocado was extremely hard. The poor waitress even meantioned she would not recommend people eating there. The Manager need to take ownership of the produce and gain control of the kitchens efficiency. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.
I’ll admit to being a little apprehensive before visiting Geno’s due to the other reviews I had seen on Zomato, but after taking a look at the restaurant I decided to give them a try and I’m so glad I did! The restaurant was clean and inviting, and the owners and waitrons alike made us feel at home. On recommendation by the owner, my friend and I had the cheddarmelt schnitzel as well as the salsa chicken. The salsa chicken is a chicken breast topped with mozzarella, served with a guacamole dip, a peppadew dip and fries. The flavours worked beautifully together and it’s definitely different from the norm! The cheddarmelt schnitzel is a crumbed chicken breast fillet topped with cheese and mushroom sauce, served with salad and chips. Wow. The portions were really big and the chips were some of the best chips I’ve ever had.Our food was served within 15-20 minutes and was piping hot when we got it – straight out of the kitchen. There is also ample parking in the Cobble Walk parking lot. Geno’s has great daily specials and I can’t wait to go back and try them out! A definite must-visit for hearty, delicious food.
