We waited over an hour for our food had to go ask twice when it will we be served. No follow up service on drink requests. When we asked for the bill and this was delivered in 2 min with an eager waitress waiting for payment. We will not be back.
I have been passing this place everyday since I lodged in Durbanville. But I never got a chance to actually try it. Finally after a tiring trip over the long weekend I got a chance to eat lunch here. The ambience is nice and cool. I was actually confused as I didn’t eat breakfast so I asked for filter coffee and was wondering over what to eat. I was guided by the staff to try their BBQ chicken salad. And wow, that was one of the best sauces I ever had in a salad.
I had the privilege to be invited to a wonderful laid back foodie meet up on Herritage day! We were warmly welcomed by the owner and then seated. What better way to celebrate our Herritage but to have real South African braaivleis! We were served a starter, a beautiful portobello mushroom prepared on the braai stuffed with nuts ham and creamcheese. What a delight. The we had a traditional main with boerewors, sosatie, pap tert, skilpaadjie and baby beetroot salad with feta. The meat was perfectly prepared and very tasty! We finished off our mains with a beautiful malva pudding and custard, which was also prepared on the braai! Well done! Then we were served a second dessert, a wonderful sweet trifle. I really enjoyed the food the company and the vino! La Feta Vij Eats & Treats are perfectly situated in the heart of Cobblewalk centre. With the buzzing of the shops and play area around, you can enjoy your meal or coffee while watching the children play in the sun on the jungle gym. I will definitely be back for more.
