Fell inlove with the decor and atmosphere of this restuarant think it would be great for grand birthday parties. The swings at the tables are something I’ve never seen before and thought of it as so unique and fun. Their cheesecake is also one for the maps would come again.

We visited here on Saturday 22 December 2018, arriving a little after 17:00. There were 3 other tables seated outside, and the vibe was relaxed. Drinks order and delivery was a little slow, but not too bad. We ordered food around 17:30 and then the wait started. We asked about the food once or twice with promises that it’s on the way, but at 18:30 we started threatening with walking out and not paying if the 4 burgers and two kids cheesy pastas we ordered didn’t arrive soon. Two minutes later, and out comes the food, the waitress and even a manager delivering it. But not a single word of apology, a drop-and-run. The burgers may have been hot a while before that, but not on delivery, they are lukewarm at best. The patties are completely flavourless, as if just freshly minced meat was pressed together with nothing else added, bland. The beef patties are cooked acceptably, but the lamb patty is dry. The potato wedges are also merely lukewarm, and they look and taste as if the oil they were fried in should have been replaced last week. These burgers are R110 each, R120 for the lamb burger, and a far cheaper Rocomammas burger is infinitely better. Surely the kids’ cheesy pastas must be good? Sadly no, the homemade pasta used for it is good, but the “cheesy” sauce is really a milk sauce with perhaps three slivers of cheese in the entire dish. The kids abandoned the pastas a few bites in. And at R50 each even more money goes wasted. The baked cheesecake was incredible, but not enough for us to ever return, even though the setting of the restaurant is fantastic.
