My first time here today and I must say I’m super impressed. I was greeted in a friendly manner on arrival by all the staff and taken to a table of my choice. My drink order was swiftly prepared and my food order arrived in 10min :D. What a wonderful quiet place away from all the hustle and bustle of the mall. I’ll definitely be back.:)
We went for breakfast and the menu seemed quite pricey, until we received the food – The taste and the portion was definitely worth it! The waiters were all super friendly and helpful! Restaurant had a great vube, making you forget you were in a mall.
Had the quiche of the day – spinach and feta – and it was great. For under R100 you get a good meal: big piece of delicious quiche, salad, chips plus two slices of French bread. Most of the menu is pretty pricey, but this was a good deal.
Delicious Hake and Calamari combo for lunch. At R91 it is really good value for money with chips, salad and bread and butter. Both the fish and calamari were deliciously crispy and the portion size very generous. Bica Cafe is conveniently situated in Bayside Shopping Centre. All meals are delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff are very friendly and the service efficient. Highly recommended.
I’ve only ever been here for a warm drink and cake after shopping. Service has always been good – the owner often stops by your table to make sure everything is okay. Carrot cake is delicious. Setting is okay – as good as it gets for inside a mall I guess.
