A must if you love beer, there is not much for the eye but this is all about the experience. There is always new beers available on tap with extremely uniques flavour profiles. Best of all they are extremely well priced.
As a teetotaller, I find it difficult to give an objective opinion on little places like this. Apparently the beer is good, I wouldn’t know. But what do you have when you take away the beer? A shabby nook with dirty floors? Or just a great place to socialise? Brewers is great for casual meetups with friends. If you are hungry, then Sangritas next door is willing to serve you at your table in Brewers.
Thus was my first time back since it opened last year. A great spot for after work drinks, or in this case to wait out Cape Town traffic. They have a good selection of local beers and if you feel overwhelmed by choice, then you can ask to taste before you buy. They also sell snacks such as biltong and nuts to go with your pint.
