Some people believe that hotel restaurants are generally bad. I don’t like to judge but after this experience I maybe swayed to that school of thought. I love chorizo I love mushrooms I love risotto So when I ordered this, I expected instant pleasure but it did not rise to the occasion:( The beetroot sauce was lovely though.
On the 26th April, I was at  Harald’s Bar & Terrace and service is majorly slow. Having to wait up to 20 to 30 minutes for two waitrons to make their rounds between tables. The ingredients in the cocktails are very noticeable not fresh at all. Please note, I’ve been here since 4:30 pm when there was literally 6 people here – 3 tables excluding mine.Also, not to mention that reserved tables are not clearly marked as such and one is only informed about it after already getting comfortable.Besides the view and central location, I’m afraid customer service leaves much to be desired!As a centrally located establishment, I would hope that your service would reflect a higher standard of customer service and professionalism. To more accurately reflect what the tourism industry in Cape Town is really like when it comes to food and hospitality.

I love Cape Town and I love any place that shows off the views of the Mother City. This is a great venue for Sundowners and to just grab a drink with friends after work. It’s relaxed and the atmosphere is rather vibey and it gets you into such a going out mood in a way. The food is okay, it’s what you expect. Not bad at all, it’s good.. it’s what you expect; nothing over the top. The service is also very good. I would definitely recommend this place, it’s reasonably priced and there are always cocktail specials.
