Ordered a chicken wrap via Mr D. Such a standard wrap, unfortunately nothing very striking about it. Too saucy. Hopefully when I visit the restaurant the food will be more I interesting.
We love the food here. The seafood is delicious and so well priced. The Portuguese chicken and the crayfish tails are our favourite along with those freshly baked rolls to soak up all the sauce. If you cant make it to woodstock they are on uber eats / Mr D
Living in Cape Town I’m always ready to be disappointed by the food because people here just don’t care. So I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed my 6 medium prawns and a side of chips. The prawns looked small for medium prawns and the portion of the chips was small too. Confused how lemon was not included as I thought that was standard with seafood but I guess not at Senhor Calisto. I would order the meal again though.
This place has grown on me a take away joint for a pora supper. I live in Woodstock now so its convenient. Nice peri peri and great plonk food. Well done guys.
