A very nice and relaxed vibe at this place. The food was very homely and generous with portion size. It was a welcome relief from the drab hotel food I was having at the Lord Charles Hotel.Every pasta dish and pizza ordered looked really good – mine was the beef cannelloni dish with a rich tomato sauce.
Based on some of the reviews we were hoping for an experience of generosity, quality and homeliness. None of these materialised. It’s not inexpensive, but we’re always happy to pay more for good quality – here we felt ripped off by both the quality of food as well as a restaurant so jam packed to squeeze in more tables, that the waiters bump into diners as they walk between tables. You’re much better off ordering takeout from Pizzaman just outside. We’ll rather travel to Old Bridge pub or Giovannis at Eikendal for a pizza restaurant experience in future. It’s been a while since we’ve been in a place that smacks of greediness at the expense of quality and customer care. Definitely won’t visit again as evidenced by one star.

I don’t know why this place don’t have a 5 star rating. Been eating there for years and never been disappointed by the service and the food.
I’ve yet to have a bad meal at this restaurant. Service is attentive and owner is always present. Top quality ingredients used in all their dishes and menu is well thought out with interesting seasonal specials adding variety.
