Lesson learnt once again; just because a restaurant is situated in a “luxury” hotel, does not mean that the food is good! As we were a large table, we had pre-ordered our meals a day before (mixed feelings on this one). Firstly, the service was absolutely abysmal (waitress would talk to one guest, then ignore the person right next to them who wanted to place a drinks order). The mussel starter was thoroughly overcooked; massive chunks of onion and not a single while mussel in the entire pot (imagine having to scrape mushy mussel meat out of a half shell), and having the pre-ordered fillet well overcooked, yet still able to produce another perfectly cooked steak in less than 5 minutes. Seriously lacking, this establishment. Sadly, will not recommend or be back

Had the mixed grill with sweet potato fries and I was left felling very underwhelmed. The steak and lamb chop were prepared correctly and to my disappointment the sausage was barely cooked. The cheesecake was nice though.
