I was attracted to this shop by the rows of macarons. I had the dark chocolate one which was everything a macaron should be – crunchy outer meringue and chewy inner bits. I also took home the vanilla mascarpone cheesecake for The Husband which he said was creamy and not too sweet. The shop has a combo special of a brownie and coffee for R40 which I think is a good deal. They also have tasters which is a nice touch.
I had a great time here. Before you buy anything the staff explains exactly what goes into the product. I was surprised to hear that they only sourced their ingredients from local suppliers. The brownies are made from 70% dark chocolate if I remember correctly. I’ll always support a small local company selling quality, before I spend my money on the commercial brands. Keep it up guys!
This cute little kiosk is situated in the food court. It’s takeaway-only so the vibe is very casual and relaxed. We passed it while making our way out of the food court after lunch and thought it would be great to pick up a few things to take home. It’s open until late so that’s a bonus too. There are loads of decadent treats on offer. The macarons look lovely on the display and aren’t bad at all. However, for the price I don’t think it’s worth it.It’s takeaway-only so I can’t comment much on service.
A little sweet heaven kiosk on the outskirts of the food court. They have the most delicious brownies and cheesecakes.I enjoy going here as they always have a different treat to test, that way you can explore your options.
