A quaint little Italian place, only open for lunch, although I’ve only had the gnocchi it’s really difficult to have anything else as my mother insists it is the best she has ever had! And I’m not complaining it’s the softest most delicious thing I’ve tasted, your can choose between the Napoletana or the 4 cheese, they are both amazing!
For authentic Italian served in a small space that could be in Parma, Bologna, or any other city in Italy, you’ll battle to find a better option. Introduced to me by a mate I played rugby in Italy with, it has been a pleasure every visit. It does help that he is a regular, and asks for their special recommendations – and we follow them, regardless of whether we would have picked them from the menu. At my most recent visit we started with some ham and Parmesan chunks, followed by gnocchi and mussel pasta, before lamb and liver mains. Finished the meal with custard cornuti and limoncello. All in all a fantastic food experience, and although the space looks like a neat & tidy Internet cafe rather than a themed Italian diner, the presence of Italian speaking fellow diners is always confirmation that we’re in the right spot. And the limoncello is superb – none of the artificial lemon you find in most cheap bottle store offerings, as its home made.
A little bit hidden but great if you love authentic Italian and fresh pasta. I had the Spag Bol which was wholesome and delish. Try it out if you’re in the area.
I decided to try out their pasta for lunch as my boyfriend lives in the same complex. The location isn’t great, its nestled inbetween the parking area and offices. The service was good and our pasta was delivered to us quickly. Â However I found the pasta to be really average and bland. The sauce really made me question whether it came straight from a packet and this was disappointing as I expected some authentic homemade Italian cuisine. It was really not worth the price of the pasta.
