Food usually takes about 3 minutes to produce, it’s even quite quick during meridian. Noodles are a little dry though. Prices are affordable and staff are always friendly!
Rainbow took me through university. The garlic chilli sauce with the sweet sour chicken or pork was my go to meal to carry me through my bodily cravings and stress all through under grad at UCT. Looking back I have not found similar styled sweet sour since, theirs almost a dough dumpling fried variety. The food is prepared fast, hot and tasty.
Well-known among UCT students! I used to visit this place all the time when I was a student. There’s usually a long queue outside but the wait isn’t long because the staff are efficient. Very affordable so perfect for students. The spring rolls are my fave – a little oily but great to snack on and they have a great sweet chili sauce to go with it. Today my sister brought some chicken noodles with her and they were equally as tasty!
