Yum is located in the Double Tree Hilton and has a very food court feeling. The service is friendly and efficient and the food is reasonably priced. My friend and I ordered two dishes – the cashew chicken and the tofu stir fry. The tofu dish was by far the better of the two. It had a good balance of flavours and a generous serving of tofu. The cashew chicken was a little too sweet on the sweet and sour scale, but enjoyable none the less. Overall, a nice spot for a quick, flavoursome Chinese lunch. It’s really just about the food and not a dining experience, but worth a try.
While the food is relatively tasty, they are seriously over priced and they close way too early. They aren’t even open on weekends. The last meal that I had was really salty and my boyfriends meal was incorrect however when he complained the lady gave him free dumplings.
I really love Yum. It’s a great lunch time spot or if you’re feeling hungry late at night as they do stay open rather late. Definitely make sure you have any of their dishes with cashews. The portions are certainly filling.
The noodles are great at YUM, the portions are small but surprisingly filling and the cute chinese take away boxes are my favorite thing about the place. The opening hours are a bit weird, and I often find myself craving YUM only to find that they have closed at 8pm.
Great tasting meals with some great specials. Great as you can sit down or grab a quick takeaway. Afterwards one can go to the Liberty bar a few metres away.
