  A very quiet bar. But the service didn’t add any positivity to the energy of the bar. The waiting time for a toasted cheese sandwich was 35min. That was a long waiting period considering the fact that there were only 4 customers at the time. The bar has great potential but unfortunately the staff seen disinterested

  This is a great place to come and watch sports matches with friends if that’s the vibe you’re looking for. Don’t let that deter you though as you are still able to go and comfortably  take advantage of the specials as most spectators tend to sit at the bar leaving the other seats free for the rest of non-spectators. The staff are really friendly and young, the service is quick and the menu has some pleasant surprises.

  Another much needed adult-friendly bar in Claremont but I’m afraid they will probably not last long.On my first visit, my partner and I enjoyed our first round of cocktails. The second round was a disaster. The waiter couldn’t be bothered to check up on us. I must say the owner and manager saved the situation by listening to feedback we had to give and correcting the wrong even when we didn’t ask for it. The food looked awesome but my pizza could have been a bit more flavourful. Please note, our expectations were exceeded where food is concerned It was still early days so I came back for drinks with a friend. The cocktails still need sharpening. We’ll blame this one on the rookie behind the bar. The food menu has been whittled down- thank goodness for that. We shared a portion of their chicken strips which were nice and tender but I’m not a fan of their super crispy coating. Good value for money though.On my last visit, my partner and I decided to try their breakfast. No one does a pub breakfast in Claremont anymore :(. WOW! If a place can’t get breakfast right, then they shouldn’t serve food at all!The food took forever to be served. I should not have supplemented with their chicken strips. Our eggs were stone cold! The toast was done melba style. Disaster. I was starving by then so I ate my crumbly cold scrambled eggs. I did ask for them to be soft scrambled.The waitress was apologetic but shocked me more when she offered to WARM the food! These people must focus. I don’t think I will visit again anytime soon.
