Really cool place to meet for coffee! The fresh decor and busyness of the place adds to the vibe. The chai latte is one of the best I’ve had and it’s reasonably priced too.
Very neat spot for a coffee and a sweet treat. A movie-like cafe with a good number of people on their computers working. Person to my left was doing the newspaper crossword puzzle. Ample magazines to keep yourself busy, too. So it’s a perfect place to hang back and enjoy some cake and coffee.My mocha was (too) sweet, but good. The carrot cake was nice, but not as fresh as it should be.
Located in a quiet corner of Newlands Village. This cute coffee shop is actually bigger than it appears. I like the decor especially the pops of blue and the giant quirky wall mural. There are loads of tables and chairs to sit at which means it’s a great place to do some work or have a catch up. I usually prefer strong dark coffees but today I was feeling adventurous and decided to try out the matcha green tea latte. It’s not listed on the board but it is advertised (R24). The staff are so lovely and super friendly. They chat to you while making the drink. They also look like they know what they’re doing when it comes to coffee! And while you wait there’s a selection of very tempting treats staring you in the face. The latte itself wasn’t bad and I’m glad I tried it. I will visit Hazz again but next time I’ll stick to the regular coffees – just my preference!
If you’re looking for a quiet café to work in, then Hazz is your place. The coffee is great and the barristers are super friendly and chatty as you wait for your coffee to be made. Today, I had a soy milk matcha latte and my brother had the rich, silky Italian hot chocolate. Of course, the latter was more delicious, but the matcha latte was as good as a matcha latte can be.
Hazz has easily become one of my go-to coffee shops. They serve up extremely good coffee and they also have a nice range of pastries and cakes to accompany it. My personal favorites are the biscotti and the croissants. They dont serve any substantial meals, but they do have a fridge with pre-made wraps (nothing fancy). Another plus, is they have really good wifi and spacious seating which makes it a nice spot for a scenic study session.
