Wow, this used to be my go to spot for a sushi fix and a specialty dish. My wife and I have been ordering the same thing for 9 years. Angel Beef with steamed rice, 8 piece prawn cheese & avo, 6 piece salmon fashion sandwiches. Not only was it great value for money, but the service was excellent, highly professional, fast, clean, neat and friendly. My experience last night was everything I knew Hongs not to be. We waited 1hr for the food, not only was it not up to scratch the taste was completely different. The waiters were running around like headless chickens, trying to keep customers happy and please impatient delivery guys. The plates, soya bowls and cutlery was dirty. This is not the Hong restaurant I came to know and love. I’m very sure this restaurant has changed ownership. This is so sad, looks like we gona have find a replacement.
We just had lunch here, the service was weak, the waitress was nice but lacked basic ability to communicate in English. We order 2 noodle dishes and a Tepanyaki calamari dish and spring rolls. the Spring rolls we cold inside, the calamari was half cooked and we did not finish it, both noodle dishes had shrimp/prawns that were so old and stale, the chicken and vegetables in the noodle dishes were limp and old too. The food was not palatable and we ended up leaving quite disappointed. I will never be going back here, the hygiene is also questionable. The service is shocking and they need a new chef!

Just ordered Sushi, and was rather disappointed. Rice was loose and sushi was falling apart, presentation wasn’t anytime to rave about. Should have realized the warning signs when I saw how cheap the sushi was. Would never order from them again. Threw the remainder of the sushi away. What a waste.
Ordered in from MrD. The sushi rice was undercooked and the maki was falling apart. There are many way better options available than this place
