The place to go to if wanting to dodge the late-afternoon traffic. There is an outdoor area that is great for sundowners. Chose to sit inside as we wanted to watch the sports that was playing at the time. Had a mini-platter which included chicken and beef assortments. Shared a bottle of sparkling wine. They have a great selection of drinks and food, which just fits in with the array of visitors that the hotel seemed to be welcoming by the hour.
I am enthralled with the service and excellent food we had tonight. I can safely say that it was great value for money. From our starters to mains to deserts we had our waitress lead us in deciding what was the better choice as there was so much to choose from.I am sated and I will, with a clear conscience, let my friends come and enjoy themselves here. Park Inn by Radisson Newlands Cape Town, has outdone themselves tonight. Founding out that this is normal for them and this is how they operate, I have the world of respect for them. What impressed me more, was their ability to give the deaf people a chance to show their worth. Thus creating a self respect for the deaf people that help out at Park Inn by Radisson Newlands Cape Town. These guysHilary Beukes and girls look more happy, proud and at home that some of their brothers and sisters that has all their faculties. I was most impressed.
We had dinner in the lobby bar, it was a Friday night and we were in the mood for a little wine-down after a busy work week. We started with a savoury cheese cake  – I have never come across this before so we had to try it… we shared and it was the perfect amount of rich cheesy flavour to whet our appetites.For mains we both decided to order burgers… after good recommendation from our friendly and helpful waitress. I had the Spiced burger and Lop went for the Full Monty – both served with a mix of potato and sweet potato fries. These bad boys were enormous, juicy and packed with finger-lickin’ goodness.Dessert was served straight to our room – we shared the Chocolate Quattro and it was enjoyed while watching Arrow from the comfort of our bed – Bliss!
