I’ve only ever been here outside of peak student times when it’s nice and quiet. Then the ambiance has been great, good service as well and I no complaints about the food, but it is a student bar and has a very pub lunchy vibe.
Springboks hosts frat parties. I was at one of their little parties recently, it’s just not as fun anymore. The last time I went, there was fighting, loads of drinks spilt everywhere and some people were even thrown out bc of their incessant feuds.
Bloody good spot to go before the game whether it be the cricket or the rugby. Awesome vibe. For me being and Aussie and behind enemy lines, I totally love it here. Great to really sit and down a few with friends before the game.
