We’ve had lunch at this restaurant a couple of times and have always enjoyed the position on the edge of the water within a small tranquil beach/harbour. We have always sat outside. Service is good. Food is good and the view is great. Always a place to come and sit and have a lunch next to the water. We had the fish and chips, the saucy burger and the Cape Malay curry. Al 3 good dishes that I can recommend.
Great place for families- the restaurant includes a play area to keep children busy, the location also allows children to walk down onto the sand and explore the shallow waters of the harbor. It offers an idyllic view of the harbor whilst you eat. The restaurant is however on the pricey side and the service is often slow on busy days – so you’ll have to be very patient when waiting for your food. Meals are tasty and portions are adequate in relation to price. If you’re lucky you’ll get to hear a local singing performance and can always find locals selling art at the entrance.
Scrumptious food, brilliant location, excellent staff. The burger was great, and the seafood even better. Well worth a visit, whether for the food or the location you can’t go wrong.
Located right on the dock of Simon’s town offers an excellent view. Ordered Neptune platter for 2 & Aged fillet. The Neptune platter was more than enough for 2 persons but the taste was bit disappointing. The fillet was on the drier side. Everything seemed to lack flavour. Even the fries seemed fried multiple times before being served. Not recommended.
