The food was good but portions were a bit small also the service was great but was not impressed with the bathroom also they should really have cocktails on the menu.
With the perfect location one would think you are going to be in for something special. Sadly this is not the case. After waiting 30 minutes for a menu, and the restaurant only half full, we decided to just have a coffee and leave. Unfortunately they do not have a trained barista so the capachino was even more of a disappointment than the long wait. Such potential but such a disappointment!!
We recently had lunch here. We had ordered the vegetable spring rolls, mussels starter, asian greens and the sauteed prawns noodle. The food is decent. Vegetarian fare can be better. Service is a little slow. It has a pretty view. But I doubt I will be back.
Dec 30 lunch: This restaurant is part of the lodge but being the only place nearby, we had lunch here after checking in. The service was very slow. Getting our beers was actually a task with the servers taking time to tell us avaialble beers and then actually getting the beers. The food was quite decent. The spring rolls were okay. The veg open sandwich tasted good but in terms of portions, not filling. Fish n chips was a mixed bag. Fish was good while the chips were soggy. Considering the location, it is no wonder that service takes a hit. They know there is no other place nearby and probably that’s why the service takes a hit.
