The location I must say is amazing , just next to Boulders. We went for a quick bite , ordered Pasta Florentine , Nuggets with chips for kids , Chicken Burger and Cape Malay Chicken Curry .Portions were sufficient , curry was spicy with fresh herbs .Enjoyed the food and the view
The booths on the beach-side balcony offer quite the view of the ocean and the soon-to-be setting sun. We waltz in a mere 30 minutes before the kitchen closes, but they accommodate us politely, and the menu features jumbo portions at shockingly fair prices. Our friends are locals, and they are equally surprised by the fairness of the pricing here.
Pub style lunch this afternoon. This place gets super busy with the tourists buzzing about. The view outside is fantastic and well worth it if you can get a seat. I had a flat white which was everything but, I know you are suppose to have wine with fish but some of use survive on a good cup to keep them going. This coffee situation needs to be resolved for me personally. Food wise, I’m happy. The calamari is ordered was tasty and what you would expect when cooked well. The little people liked their ribs and chicken nuggets and the pricing was reasonable given the location. No complaints there. Service was exceptionally fast and the wait staff friendly and attentive. Props to you.
The experience led me to believe that the restaurant was set up for one purpose: to fleece tourists.Based on many other reviews here, it seems other people experienced the same.If your intention is to sit outside to enjoy the view (which frankly is the only good thing going for them) with a drink, think again – you have to order food in return for the pleasure of them allowing you to sit outside. Then when ordering the mandatory meal, they brought up rule number 2 which is that diners are not allowed to share meals. The very nice waiter then mentioned the dissatisfaction to his manager who was standing nearby. The manager just scoffed, shook his head, and said nothing.Rather go to one of the other many great restaurants in the area – this one is a dud.
