Very friendly staff who will go the extra mile to cater to your needs, many vegetarian options that taste great, and lovely atmosphere. Good size / large portions. Will certainly go back and highly recommend.
Upstairs is a large, airy balcony with comfy couches and glimpse of the ocean: the perfect place to enjoy a summer lunch in the Cape. The menu isn’t packed with options, but there’s enough to satisfy a variety of tastes. The burger I had was really tasty with a good helping of hand cut fries and a side salad that wasn’t just an afterthought. The iced coffee comes in a small glass, but it’s strong and rich – one of the best I’ve ever had.
Delicious vegetarian chickpea burger, and it’s so wonderful to sit and watch the sunset while eating delicious food! They could make their own sweet potato fries instead of buying them. Their calamari is also amazing, probably the best I’ve had. Service is good. Not excellent but the food and ambience makes up for it.
Lovely stop off on your way to cape point or to the beach. The ice cream and smoothies are great, as are the baked goods if you’re stopping in for a take away. We had a nice lunch looking out over the area. I had Indian potato cakes and we also had a Buddha bowl and a burger. The latter were great and we enjoyed the potato cakes but I do think there could have been more seasoning. It did become a little bland, although the presentation was lovely.
I’ve driven past this place on numerous occasions and never thought to stop in. I was actually going to another restaurant in the area but it looked closed so by chance went in here and was happy I did. I liked everything about it. The decor, music, view – all fantastic. The menu seemed limited but myself and my boyfriend both found something we liked. I had the thai chicken pita and it was the best pita I’ve ever had. The pita was toasted nicely, plenty of delicious filling and the optional chilli was great! Perhaps the weather and the music just fitted the place and my mood that day but I walked out feeling I’d found a gem and will most definately be back.
