The Cattle Baron is consistently great! I’ve been many times and can’t fault it. Their fillet is phenomenal and their chocolate mousse is the best I’ve ever had. The restaurant is homely and welcoming, a great place.
I had the ribs at cattle baron today. It came with the usual delicious butternut and spinach and chips. I also ordered onion rings. The food was pretty good. The ribs could have more stickiness to it, but it was enjoyable.I went for a sit down meal this time. Disappointed that they didn’t have cheesecake or creme Brule. The food was great. Loved the onion rings.

Really disappointing! Went there to celebrate a special birthday and what a disappointment. Did not have a good experience. The food was tasteless and dry. Béarnaise sauce was cold and hard. Ordered a steak which the main ingredient was missing and was told after it arrived that they forgot it was out of stock. Definitely won’t be going back!
