I love the variety this little cafe has on their menu. I usually opt for the pancakes as they are so delicious and affordable too. I don’t particularly enjoy the smoothies but that’s just me! I will definitely go back to try the other items on the menu.
Indulge.Meet the Pancake ManThis itsy bitsy little food outlet is situated in the Valyland shopping mall (at the entrance to the Spar) in Fish Hoek.Not really sure how to best describe this particular establishment.In summary – a smoothie bar / coffee bar serving an assortment of Panini’s with a foursome of hot dogs / boerewors rolls included.That in essence is a summary of the entire menu.However all said and done, a funky, trendy little outlet ideal for the on the way home pancake and coffee or smoothie.Walking past the ‘Outside Pancake Man’ is not so easy. Always has a pancake on the go and just needs your stamp of approval.The ‘Outside Pancake Man’ serves up a masterpiece in minutes. Done to perfection, with loads of cinnamon, a splash of lemon and drizzled with syrup. (R 6.00 each) real bargain.Be advised – Not car eating friendly – as it was in this case. Steering wheel and dashboard, syrup sticky for days.A good array of smoothies and likewise a good selection of coffee variations to choose from.Do indulge yourself.Thank You – Outside Pancake ManWill be back for more pancakes & serviettesMr.G – Marcus Gibbons
