We wanted a special holiday and booked a villa for two – the most expensive and premium room in the place. We were absolutely MORTIFIED when 2 people started banging on our door to tell us they were staying with us!! To add insult to injury we then discovered that our ‘premium booking’ didn’t even have a shower. When we shared our absolute shock and utter disappointment with the manager (Anthony), he decided to do absolutely nothing to appease the situation. But wait, it gets better. Anthony’s response to the fact we didn’t have a shower was “you didn’t ask for one” and when we asked him “how on earth will we wash ourselves?!” He responded with “you can wash with a hand-bath mam”.That’s what top price and ‘premium room’ gets you at Monkey Valley.

At the price point I expected.way more. Rice was over cooked more porridge than rice were. Prawns were over cooked and clinging to their shells. Calamari was rubbery. Wait staff were hardly around. To top it off i heard the manager arguing with a customer for sending a pizza back. Certainly won’t be back.
