I absolutely loved the wine tasting at Steenberg Tasting Room. The view from the outside terrace is marvellous on a sunny day, perfect for whiling away the day, and the wines are absolutely delicious! Highly recommended for visitors to Cape Town!
The place was very busy the day we visited showing how popular this upmarket wine tasting room is among residents and tourists alike. The place is modern chic overlooking the company’s estate and has a great selection of wines. Geared more towards adults more than families with kids.
Always had friendly service and a great time tasting at Steenberg. It is a equally great place in summer to taste a great bubbly out by the fountains as well as loaf on the comfy couches near the fire on a cold winters day enjoying there excellent Syrah.
Steenberg is a very beautiful place. I would recommend to book a table in advance as they don’t have so many tables outside and it gets quite busy im high season. They offer wine tastings or MCC tastings and it’s really good.
