The Kenilworth store should be on here as they are way more popular. Visited the Kenilworth store on Saturday as I was craving a salomie. Ordered a steak salomie, I’m not usually a fan of steak curries or salomies but this one was really good. The roti itself was also nice.While I was waiting I had a few samoosas, also really good and very popular amongst customers. Really meat and chicken filling and not too many onions.This is just a tiny kiosk in the mall but they are always busy and the food seems pretty good.
I’ve been to the Kenilworth Centre branch. My favorite things to order are the sandwiches, especially the steak and egg (or even the egg sandwich with a slice of cheese – good to grab for a quick breakfast on the go) as well as the mince pies, chicken samosas (probably the best in the southern suburbs) and koeksisters. They also sell prepackaged meals. I’ve tried the cottage pie which was too spicy for my taste. It’s very popular and usually gathers a crowd of customers but they are efficient so there’s rarely a long wait.
