Ordered take away pizza here this evening. The Base is very thin. I enjoyed the bacon, feta and avo pizza, but I asked for extra garlic, so that made it really tasty. I have had better focaccia. Just ok.

lovely small Italian restaurant. I ordered the marianara seafood pasta which was very tasty. The sauce was flavorful and one of their only pastas I will order again. Their pizzas are also good- thin crispy base. Will probably be back for a takeaway pizza. They also have specials on Mondays and Tuesdays.
Have been to Italiano’s twice while we were on holiday in Cape Town (December 2017) and it has been one of the best restaurants I’ve ever visited. Ordered pizza both times while my friends ordered some of the other items on the menu and we all tasted each others food. All the pizza’s are super thin-based, cheesy-chewy and the interesting combinations extremely tasy (I tried a slice of about 6 different pizza’s on the menu the first time a group of us went!) The atmosphere in the restaurant is warm, cosy and welcoming – and best of all, they are not focussed on turning tables, so you never feel rushed – 4 hours just flew by each time we were there. Ros, the new owner and Debra, the waitress, makes you feel like friends coming to visit while Eugene, the pizza guy, and Wafeeka, the pasta chef does their food-magic at the back. According to the locals we chatted to, Italiano’s is fast becoming one of the best restaurants in Plumstead once again under the management of the new owner. Visiting Italiano’s is definitely on the list from now on every time we go to Cape Town.
