I am a very regular customer at Plumstead fisheries. I love their hake and chips. We tend to have to wait a bit longer when we order the snoek and calamari, but it’s usually worth the wait. Lovely, affordable Friday night take away.

Best avoided. Staff have a , like it or lump it attitude. Not going there again.Chips not done, also asked for a Portuguese roll and when they gave me a soft roll I complained, they said it was a Portuguese roll.
Always happy when ordering here. The fish is alway crispy and fresh and the chips are good as well. I would definitely recommend plumstead fisheries!
Great fish and chips! Slap chips are the best with loads of vinegar. Need I say more? A Southern Suburbs institution. Keen to try the calamari next.
