Found this place through the entertainer. It’s very cosy and neat. The calamari strips were delicious and the coffee too. Would definitely come back to try desserts.
Cute, little cafe hidden in Hout Bay. I’m always looking for a good cafe to go have brunch, lunch or coffee with a friend and I think I have found the perfect restaurant to do so. Service was excellent. The vegetarian food was scrumptious and the juices(and coffee) were really good! Can’t wait to go back and try more on the menu 🙂
It’s light and comfortable, and a great place to go for a breakfast or lunch. We sat in a corner on a makeshift couch with pillows against the wall which was wonderful and made the place even better. I had the chicken mayo toastie, which is on a ciabatta, and it was a great and refreshing lunch. I love to try Chai Lattes at places and as most other places, there is nothing special about theirs, but it was still nice. I would definitely recommend it if you just want a nice lunch or breakfast, because their breakfast menu seems tasty too. I would definitely go back when I’m in that area again.
The Eggs Benedict is exceptional! Otherwise small passionate family business, good decor, very well maintained. A very good December alternative to the fish and chips scrum in the harbor
