At Greek Street, we’re proud to introduce Greece’s famed hospitality (Filoxenia) to Cape Town. Set in the picturesque seaside town of Hout Bay, our laid-back and lively taverna is a little piece of island heaven. We pay tribute to our traditional roots – yiayia would be proud, but we also love showcasing contemporary Greek street food and play with some Middle Eastern twists too. Skinny lamb chops with Dukkah, Honey-glazed pork ribs with our famous “loaded” chips or our Kalamaki beef kofta – just a few signature dishes from our in-house wood-fired grill or Athena as she’s fondly known. We like to cook slow with soul and love, and serve fast with spirit and a smile. Welcome to Greek Street.
