Decided to have brunch here after a hike on Sunday morning and it was the best decision. We sat outside and had the most spectacular view. The atmosphere at the Green Vine Eatery is so peaceful and serene. The eggs Benedict was absolutely delicious. The hot cakes were slightly dry however the waiter was happy to get us extra maple syrup. For drinks we had a very refreshing, freshly squeezed orange juice , rooibos red cappuccino and rooibos tea. I recommend this place to all and will definitely come back to try out other things on the menu.
On Sunday I booked a table for 8 of us at the Green Vine to celebrate my daughters 15th birthday. We were welcomed to a table set beautifully with fresh cut flowers situated close to the warmth of the fire. The service was quick and efficient, happy professional servers. The pizzas we ordered were devoured, made with fresh organic homegrown ingredients smothered in cheese. My daughter was also presented with an amazingly delicious chocolate birthday cake. The staff went out of their way to make this the most enjoyable birthday lunch. A wonderful experience.
We booked a table on Sunday for 2 people at 13hoo, when we arrived there was nobody to assist us to our table! It took and hour for our food to arrive and it was cold the burger patty was still frozen inside!!! We will never go back total disaster!!
Perhaps the best #eggbenedict ever. Done my yoga session and look for a place for good brunch, this one comes on the list. Make a call to ensure they open and serve egg benedict, they said the breakfast time is just over. I ask the chef to do me a huge favour and I will be there within 10 minutes. They have a few options, Parma ham is my choice which is quite uncommon. Usual choices are gypsy ham and salmon, this Parma ham option is absolutely excellent. Eggs are soft and runny, I think they prepare it with good vinegar, which makes the runny egg less heavy when you taste it, feeling less guilty. Lots of spinach which is beyond my expectation, makes the whole thing much less guilty again. Parma ham, I didn’t know there are such a lot of them, can hardly finish all of them!
